Agriculture – land service

Agriculture is an important pillar of the project. “Land service” is understood as the task of cultivating the land carefully and producing agricultural products with sustainable methods adapted to the specific region and climate.

The land where Kirpal Sagar now lies first had to be cleared. Over the years it has been transformed into fertile fields through the efforts of many volunteers. Today, agriculture supplies food to the whole of Kirpal Sagar and its guests. To maintain a free common kitchen has a very long tradition in India and is likewise practiced here.

Fields in the surrounding area are often purchased in order to ensure the long-term self-sufficiency of Kirpal Sagar as it continues to grow. So also in future, fields, grassland and trees will surround the entire complex with a green belt.
